An okay night but it was not our day today. First Sofie only managed a 20 minute morning nap which left her tired and cranky. After a long afternoon nap, the plan was to go to the duck pond park to attend our first ever playgroup but about half way there in the car I spilled water all over my lap and then suddenly Sofie had a tearful meltdown, that was only quelled by me pulling over and getting her out of the car seat. I finally got her back in again and on the road home only to have another tearful outburst five minutes later. Luckily we were around the corner from Daddy's work so we made it there and spent the rest of the afternoon hanging out there and waiting for Dad to be done so we could all drive home together.
